From doing this project I have learned that the Vikings were a fearful race of people. They were thought of as bloodthirsty warriors but some of them were simply farmers and they were also very skilled crafts people. They were just like us but they lived their lives differently. I have learned the kinds of Gods they worshipped and what they looked like. Also, what type of houses they lived in and how they respected the dead. I now know how they made their own weapons and the pride they took in them. The ships that they built were marvellous and they could even sail on both deep and shallow waters. Yes, the Vikings did raid and steal but we should remember them for their good qualities and not their bad ones.
