The Ethos of our school portrays a distinct character and atmosphere throughout the school and this is reflected in the extent to which St. Patrick's promotes the spiritual, educational and social development of all pupils. We strive to develop the notion of learning as a total physical, emotional and intellectual activity; the three being inextricably entwined and to develop the learning/ teaching activity in a holistic way.

Everyone is committed to the creation of a climate in which pupils feel secure and aware of their obligations. This caring commitment is evident in the schools ethos, its interpersonal relationships, its extra-curricular activities and its discipline and reward systems.
