St Davog's Primary School
(Scraghey)

St. Davog's is a small primary school located in the townland of Scraghey, in the parish of Termonamongan ,
Co.Tyrone.The well maintained school comprises of two classrooms, a well equipped library/staffroom, an
office area and dining -room/hall. Learning takes place not only in our classrooms but also in the grounds
which include a Science Garden, new Outdoor play area, specially commissioned playground markings and
outdoor classroom all of which extend learning into the environment.

We provide a range of activities through Extended schools and are also part of a number of clusters for
various activities such as Junior Engineering, Sports activities and Primary School Spanish.
Our Catholic maintained school opened in October 1954 and
is in a beautiful rural setting on Scraghey mountain, seven
miles from the town of Castlederg.

The Teaching Principal, Teacher and a Classroom Assistant
together with our Secretary, School Meals Supervisor,
Caretaker and After schools Club co-ordinator make up the
team who work here for the children in our care. We have a
current enrolment of 18 pupils.
