Building at School

Since the beginning of the school year there has been extension work and general improvements going on. First a new playground was constructed for the younger pupils. More recently pupil toilet facilities have been extended to the back of the school. The new hall and kitchen adjacent to the school is well under way. This is indeed an exciting time for our school and we look forward to the completion of this work.

Guitar

The guitar continues once a week as usual. Pupils are very keen to learn this instrument and they put on a splendid performance at Christmas.

Tin Whistle

Pupils continue to learn the tin whistle every Tuesday. Mrs. N. Sweeney tutors the pupils who enjoy both playing the tin whistle and singing.

School Photographer

Pupils had the opportunity to have their photographs taken recently. Group and single photos were taken as requested.

First Holy Communion

The date for this year's sacrament has been confirmed for Saturday 15th May at 11.30 am in the Sacred Heart Church, Omagh. This year we will be joining pupils from St. Conor's PS for the ceremony.

West Tyrone Feis

We have received many entries for the English and Irish sections of the West Tyrone Feis. We hope all concerned will enjoy partaking in whatever poems, prose, songs and tin whistle sections they have entered.
