Swimming |
The pupils have recently finished a course of swimming lessons. They were held in Omagh Leisure Centre on Monday mornings. Later in June there will be a swimming gala and there will be pupils representing the school. |
Liz Weir |
Liz Weir visited our school. All the classes got a chance to see and hear her. She has written a book. She asked us to name our favourite food. She did an action song. She told us a few stories. Some photographs were taken. |
Grand Opera House |
In January a very enjoyable trip to the Opera House in Belfast took place. Two Chambers buses took us there and back. The pantomine was called 'Dick Whittington'. We saw May Mc Fetridge and Dirty Den from Eastenders. Our school name was read out. |
Paired Reading |
The paired reading project is a recognised tool for improving children's reading. So the P4 and P5 classes have embarked on this project. Many parents came to an information night and were keen to help their children with their reading. |
