sepal- is the leaf which protects the flower when it is in bud. Petal- attracts insects by their scent and colour. Stamen- Makes/produces pollen that sticks to insects and will pollinate another flower. Stigma- is the female part of the flower which receives pollen which is used to fertilise seeds Ovary- the seeds grow here until they are ready to be dispersed.
