Queen Victoria was born on 24th May 1819. In her teen years her father died. She became queen in 1837 at just 18. When she turned 20 she fell in love with Prince Albert and ended up marrying him when she was 21. Later on she had 9 children, 5 girls and 4 boys. For holidays Queen Victoria and Prince Albert would take their children to Scotland. In 1861 Prince Albert died aged 42. She also became a widow at the age of 42. After that she became very stern and mourned. Most of her time she wore black and she lived in the Isle of Wight. She the died in the Isle of Wight aged 82.She was the longest reigning queen for 64 years. All her life she kept a diary from birth to death.
