Changes Since 1955

We interveiwed some Primary 7 pupils on what they thought the school was like 50 years ago compared to todays school,here's what they thought.

The school is better equipped but it still has kind teachers.

I think the school would have been smaller than today. There are also more pupils at school today.

In 1955 the school was only opened and it wasn't well equipped.

I think it is better now because the school is cleaner and it probably smells better

I think that our school, after 50 years of hard work, is still running smoothly. I also think it is a lot bigger as we have a lot more classrooms.

I think the school now is warmer and cleaner and probably has kinder teachers.

I think that the school in 1955 would have been dark, dusty and stuffy.

Today there is more technology - computers and hoovers. There is also more furnishing like tables, chairs and whiteboards. There are more facilities like toilets, computer room, library, canteen and well resourced resource areas
