Victoria was born in 1819 and became queen at the age of 18 in 1837. Royalty at the time of her coronation was not respected but the young queen refused to give up and quickly won the hearts of her subjects.

Victoria married her cousin Prince Albert and they had nine children four boys and five girls.

Even when she was old Victoria showed youthful energy and a strong personality.
