4-STAR

Welcome to the Cedars Guesthouse
beautifully located close Lough Erne and looking out at majestic Lough Navar Mountains.

The Cedars Guesthouse is like taking a step back in history, with the building dating back to the late 19th century. It is believed that the Archdales (Castle Archdale) built the Cedars for their Minister, the Reverend Joseph Rudell, and it became known as the Rectory. The building remained a Rectory up until 1981 and the last resident incumbent retired in 1980, The Reverend James McMurray Taylor's position was never filled and the house was sold as a private residence. It is therefore very fitting that the new bar and bistro should be named "The Rectory", over one hundred years after it was originally a Rectory.

The Cedars guesthouse situated beside Castle Archdale, against the backdrop of the beautiful Fermanagh countryside, has just recently extended the period style guesthouse to include a new bar and bistro as well as adding three new bedrooms. The Cedars will now comprise of ten bedrooms, all en-suite which include 2 Deluxe Rooms; 4 Standard Deluxe and 4 Standard Ensuite Rooms.

Here the Maguire Family along with their friendly and professional staff ensure that your stay will be an enriching & enjoyable experience.

"The Cedars Guesthouse is renowned for its relaxed atmosphere and warm inviting welcome, and was nominated second in "Best for Guests 1997" and recently received a NITB Four Star Classification" - Northern Ireland Tourist Board

March 2003 - The Cedars received "highly commended" in the NITB Tourism Awards
