Pastoral Care

The pastoral care programme in our school extends into all areas of
life and involves all members of our school community - the children,
parents, teachers and all other staff in the school. We strive to create
an environment in which the children feel secure and happy and with a
genuine concern for the well being of each individual child. The
atmosphere of the school is based on the quality of relationships at all
levels: the professional relationships between teachers, between
teachers and pupils, between pupils themselves, between teachers and
parents and between the school and the community.

It is the responsibility of each class teacher to care for the pastoral needs of the children in
his/her class, as ecah class teachers has a detailed knowledge of the needs, interests and
acaemic progress of each pupil in the class. Parents are urged to discuss any matters of concern
with the class teacher. The Principal and Vice-Principal are also available to assist when
necessary.
