The Giant's Causeway is situated in County Antrim. It is made up of water and about 40,000 hexagonal rocks rising up from the Coast. It is said that Finn Mc Cool had built these rocks and was a mighty Ulster Warrior with more legends to his name than you have ever had hot dinners |
The Wicklow mountains are situated in the County of Wicklow which is in the Province of Leinster. These mountains are the 2nd highest in Ireland and are also known as the Garden of Ireland. They have got lakes, bridges and old churches mazing through them. Lacnaquilla is the highest mountain in the Wicklow Mountains. The River Liffey that flows into Dublin, rises in the mountains. These mountains are old but are very worth while going to see. |
